Physical Exams
As many professionals, parents and teens know, there are specific immunizations that are required by law for entrance into certain Altamonte Springs and Seminole County schools, organized sports, camps and even corporations. The medical team at Palm Springs Family Care will ensure that all required immunizations are up to date, as well as perform all required elements of the physical exam.

  • School and Sports Physicals

Employment Physicals

If your employer requires employment physicals to be performed—either as a prerequisite to being hired, or on an annual basis, the medical team at Palm Springs Family Care can meet those needs. Depending on the position you will be filling, certain tests are simply a good business practice to conduct. More so, it’s essential to keep an eye on potential health risks, not just for your employer, but for yourself and your family. Dr. Badman  and his medical team can administer the following employment physicals or pre-employment tests:

  • Blood Pressure
  • Blood Work
  • Comprehensive Physical Exam
  • Eye Exam
  • Flu Vaccine
  • Height
  • Heart Rate
  • Immunizations
  • Lab Work (check blood and urine for disorders or diseases)
  • Urinalysis
  • Weight

School and Sports Physicals

As each new school year and sports season starts, the team at Palm Springs Family Care helps ensure the students and players are ready to take the field or hit the books by providing school and sports physicals to children 5 years and older of the Altamonte Springs community of Seminole County. Depending on the age of the child, school attending or sport participating in the following may be performed or discussed during the school and sports physical:

  • Check blood pressure
  • Discuss family history and order any related lab tests
  • Ensure immunizations are up to date
  • Evaluate growth and development, including height, weight and body mass index
  • Provide preventive care (guidance if overweight or sexually active)
  • Review medications currently taking
  • Screen for or monitor behavioral or emotional issues, such as depression or anxiety
  • Talk about health problems or injuries
